Purpose:
To gently uncover patterns, wounds, and inner stories that still influence your choices.
How to do it:
- Sit with a candle lit in front of you.
- Place your left hand on your heart, right hand on your belly.
- Ask aloud: “What part of me is asking to be seen?”
- Notice the first feeling, memory, or image. Trust it.
- Write a letter from that part of you:
- “I am scared of…”
- “I need…”
- “I feel…”
- When finished, place your hand over the words and whisper: “I am willing to understand you. You are safe to speak.”
- Close with a long exhale, releasing tension through your mouth.
Why it works:
Shadow work isn’t about fixing — it’s about witnessing. And once witnessed, the shadow softens.
